July 17-18, 2026
Frequently Asked Questions
& Reunion Details
How much are the tickets?
Tickets for the Reunion are $85 per attendee. The cost of your ticket helps cover:
✅ private, closed facility for our event
✅ a full buffet dinner
✅ live music
✅ decorations
✅ various logistical expenses that naturally come with hosting an evening like this.
These costs include items such as service fees, equipment, setup and other event-related necessities that ensure we can all gather and enjoy a special night together.
👉 Please know that every member of the reunion committee is volunteering their time.
👉 Several other expenses associated with planning and organizing the reunion (meetings, website, social media, email and direct mail) have been personally absorbed by individual classmates.
👉 No one is being compensated for their work.
Our goal is to create a memorable, enjoyable evening for everyone while covering the essential costs. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to a fantastic weekend together.
What is the deadline for purchasing tickets?
The deadline for ticket purchase is July 1, 2026. This enables us to provide Southside Steak House with a head count for table set-ups, food and available beverages.
How do I purchase tickets?
To purchase tickets, just CLICK or TAP HERE...
You can purchase tickets by CHECK or with PayPal, Venmo, Visa, MC, Discover or Amex.
Can I pay at the door?
To ensure we have an accurate headcount for food and venue staffing, we cannot accept walk-ins or payment at the door. Please purchase your tickets by the deadline listed above
If I already paid but can’t attend, will I receive a refund?
Yes. Refund requests made BEFORE July 1st, 2026 will be honored.
Why are we combining the Reunion with both schools?
Rutland High School and Mount St. Joseph were part of the same social world for many of us.
We went to dances together, shared friendships, dated, attended community events and stayed connected long after graduation.
Combining reunions reflects the way we actually lived our high school years—and makes the celebration bigger, warmer and more fun.
Why are the Classes (MSJ / RHS) of ‘72 invited?
The Class of ’71 was unable to hold its 50th reunion in 2021 due to COVID.
When we celebrated our delayed 50th reunion in 2022, it coincided with the Classes of ‘72 so, we invited them to our 50th Reunion - in addition to their own.
As a result, everyone had a great time and many reached out requesting we do it again.
So, inviting them to our 55th reunion is simply returning that kindness and sharing the experience once again.
Both MSJ '72 and RHS '72 will likely have their own 55th class reunions next year.
Who is on the committee for this Reunion?
Committee members include:
MSJ: Rosemary Rizzico, Cathy Cioffi, Rod Lemmo
RHS: Dave Wolk, Carol Wolk Herbert, Bill Herbert, Dean Calcagni, Dick Hackett, Dave Alberico, Chaz Mclaughlin, Dave Cook, Jeff Wennberg, Cindy & Randy Roberts, Art Rothafel
I need assistance. May I bring a friend/assistant/family member to help me?
Of course. If you require a caregiver or assistant to help you attend the event, they are welcome to accompany you. Please contact the committee directly so we can make sure we have appropriate seating and access accommodations arranged for you.
Can I bring a spouse or partner?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to bring your spouse, partner or significant other. We want everyone to feel welcome as we celebrate this milestone together.
What’s the dress code for Saturday evening?
We are aiming for a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. "Smart casual" is perfect—think nice jeans, shorts, slacks, sundresses or polo shirts. The goal is to be comfortable, relaxed and ready to catch up with old friends.
What is on the dinner menu?
Our Reunion menu plan is a buffet, including:
🥗 Fresh Garden Salad
🥩 Perfectly Grilled NY Sirloin
🐟 Lemon-dill Salmon
🍗 Savory Chicken Piccata.
Entrees are paired with warm home-made bread alongside a chef's choice of vegetable and potato. To round out the night, we'll be treated to a rich cheesecake for dessert, served with fresh brewed coffee, fountain drinks or tea.
I’m traveling from out of town. Are there hotel blocks reserved?
We made several inquires for block rates, but honestly, none of them were that great. Plus we didn't really know how many to block. So, instead, we've compiled a list of accommodations:
Accommodations:
- Comfort Inn: ComfortInn.com
- Best Western: BestWestern.com
- Hampton Inn: HamptonInn.com
- Airbnb: AirBnB.com
- VRBO: VRBO.com
- B&Bs: Booking.com
What is happening on Friday Night at Roots?
It's an early evening “Meet-Up” at Roots the Restaurant — on the outdoor patio starting at 5:30.
There will be cash bar and available appetizers.
It's a great night to reconnect with old friends before our Saturday night dinner.
Also a great time to make some "on-the-spot" weekend plans and create some new memories with your classmates.
Saturday Night - Will there be a program or speeches?
We are keeping the formal program very brief. We know that at a 55th reunion, the most important thing is having time to talk, mingle and reconnect. There will be a short welcome and a moment to remember classmates we have lost, but the rest of the night is for you to socialize.
Will there be music and dancing?
Yes! After dinner, music will be provided by Brad Morgan and Blue Jay Way with special guests like Billy Comstock, Gregg Carpenter, Rob Henrichon and Art Rothafel.
We can all dance just like we did at the Rec Center more than 55 years ago!
Is this event strictly for the Class of '71 and '72?
While the event is officially for the Classes of '71 and '72 from RHS and MSJ, we won't turn away friends from adjacent years (like '70 or '73) who want to come say hello. If you have a friend from a different year who wants to attend as your guest, they are welcome to purchase a ticket.
Who should I contact if I have more questions?
Please use our CONTACT PAGE if you have any questions or concerns. Once submitted, the your input will be sent to the appropriate committee member - and responded to as soon as possible.
