Saturday Night at Southside Station
July 18, 2026 - Southside Steakhouse - 5:30 p.m.
Our 55th Reunion will begin with a relaxed cocktail hour (cash bar). A time to reconnect, share memories and enjoy the company of classmates we haven’t seen in years.
Following the cocktail hour, we’ll hear a few brief remarks from the MSJ and RHS committee.
We will then pause for a short and meaningful Memoriam to honor and remember those classmates who are no longer with us.
Afterward, we’ll enjoy a buffet dinner with plenty of time for conversation, laughter and more reminiscing.
The Reunion Dinner Menu
Let's eat!... Our 55th Reunion Buffet features a mouthwatering selection designed to offer something exceptional for everyone.
The meal begins with a:
Fresh Garden Salad
And, then leads into a robust selection of entrees that include:
Perfectly Grilled NY Sirloin
Lemon-dill Salmon
Savory Chicken Piccata.
The Southside team is pairing these signature mains with warm home-made bread alongside a chef's choice of vegetable and potato. To round out the night, we'll be treated to a rich cheesecake for dessert, served with fresh brewed coffee, fountain drinks or tea.
Music & Dancing
Following dinner, the evening continues with live music provided by Brad Morgan and Blue Jay Way -- along with our classmates and Satin & Steel band members: Billy Comstock, Gregg Carpenter, Rob Henrichon and Art Rothafel.
Then it’s time to hit the dance floor and relive the fun — just like we did at the Rec Center more than 55 years ago.
We look forward to a wonderful evening of friendship, memories and great music.

Different Colors, One Town, One Generation
Sometimes, we stood on opposite sidelines — wearing different colors, cheering for different teams and doing everything we could to outdo one another. The rivalries were real, the games mattered -- MSJ versus RHS.
But when the final whistle blew, things shifted. We drove the same roads home, gathered at the same places and danced at the same Rec Center. Friendships crossed school lines.
In hindsight, that rivalry in the moment was really just part of a shared experience growing up in Rutland at the same time. It was our era. We actually engaged with one another (no cell phones). We drank, laughed and danced to the best music, ever.
Those memories belong to all of us. Sure, different schools, yes… but one community, one generation and one collection of stories that continue to bring us back together.
